Who We Are
The "Perun" Unmanned Systems Battalion is part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. The battalion's fighters have been carrying out combat missions since June 2023 in the hottest sectors of the Donetsk and Luhansk directions. Serebriansky Forest, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, and Kharkiv region since May 2024.
Today, our battalion is one of the most effective drone units of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

Newcomers join established crews to gain skills, expertise, and experience before operating independently.

Career military officer.
Since 2014, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation with the assault battalion Aidar. After the full-scale invasion began he joined the ranks of the 42nd Mechanized Brigade where he headed the unmanned systems operations service. He was appointed commander of the “Perun” Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 42nd Mechanized Brigade in May 2024
